What Are Bed Bugs ?

 Bed bugs get their name from their habit of feeding on humans while they sleep in their beds. They are found in virtually every place people gather, including residences, Airbnb listings, hotels, schools, offices, retail stores, and even public transportation. In fact, the increase in infestations in the US is likely due to increased international travel and Airbnb. They hide in our clothes and can jump/fall off when visiting friends. Bed bugs travel and are adept hitchhikers. They will hide in suitcases, boxes, and shoes to be near a food supply, and because they are elusive, nocturnal creatures, one of two that feed on human flesh.  This makes them a primary target for pest control. Bedbugs are hard to see or find.
